January 23rd, 2012 - No More Speeding... Poop!
About 2 weeks ago I got a speeding ticket....boooooooooooooo! I was going 90 on the freeway and the speed limit is 65 so yes I did deserve the ticket and the cost of the ticket isn’t going to be pretty from what I hear it will be anywhere from $600 to $1000…holy shit that’s going to hurt! I didn’t even realize I was going that fast until I saw the flashing lights behind me and then I looked at my speedometer and went holy shit it didn’t even feel like I was going that speed. The CHP Officer was really nice he didn’t lecture me or anything like that he just politely told me to slow down as he handed me my ticket, service with a smile!
January 24th, 2012 - The 2012 Sac City Rollers Spectacular Spectacular!
At the end of every season all of the gals involved in our roller derby league get together to celebrate the year behind us and to set ourselves up for the season ahead. Of course, being the creative bunch we are, we use this opportunity to choose a theme, get fancied up and subsequently hammered with our teammates. This year the theme was “Spectacular Spectacular!” or for those of you who don’t pick up on vague references…Moulin Rouge.
