My wife Janell turned 29 (again) last week and we celebrated at least twice:

Her actual birthday was Thursday August 4^th so I made sure that when she woke up she had plenty of roses and cards…even the pets got her a card.

That night she got her real presents from Tiffany & Co.

On Saturday night Janell got to pick a few friends to join us and sadly, she chose Dawn as one of them. The good news was that her husband Dumb-dumb was forced to come along, plus our real friends, Hope and Billy.

Since my wife and I both drive Cadillacs, it seemed only fitting to get an Escalade limo for the night

There’s nothing like two middle aged white guys going through mix CDs to get the party started.

The drive to Napa was about 90 minutes because our driver was hauling ass…sadly, with Dawn along for the ride it felt like 3 days.

I ask you commissioner…drinking champagne from a can in the back of a $120 per hour limo…ghetto, white trash or other?

We have arrived at the river in downtown Napa and the Celadon restaurant…which is not good enough to recommend, sadly. It was fine, but not great.

I am probably supposed to write something stupid about the “company being great” but that’s just lame.

Once we were back in the limo Dawn and I were done for the evening…NO not from alcohol, it was almost 9PM!!! Good Lord people we aren’t built for these late evenings.
