Mother’s Day at Williams Manor this year celebrated my wife (mother to our pets) and my mom as well:

My wife Janell woke to roses and a card from the cats and dogs

My mom came by for an afternoon dinner

This is right up my mom’s alley, it’s a “plant purse,” a plant inside of a purse. Whatever.

Dinner was prime rib, roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus

And then came picture time, beginning with Janell and me

Then my mother horned herself into the photo

and finally, the ultimate ham, Shep and his grandmother
