Roooooooooaaaad trip!! Over Memorial day weekend Gary and I decided to drive to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to visit some of our family…..my mother in law, sister in law, brother in law and niece and nephew..of course we hit a little traffic on the way booooooo but expected!!

On the way to Arizona we drive thru 3 of the 6 cities our show is broadcast from…Sacramento(not pictured), Merced and Fresno….where is Merle Haggard Drive located you ask? Why Bakersfield of course!! We aren’t broadcast there….yet!! took the picture anyway cause helllloooo it’s Merle Haggard (google it!!)

We arrive at my sister in laws and her in laws were so nice to let Gary and I sleep in their RV for the weekend…my brother in law is a HUGE Ron Paul fan, way to go, any whoo he thought it would be funny to put this sign in front of the RV to annoy me…hahaha very funny

So on the way to breakfast I saw this banner outside a gun shop, not surprising in a state where everyone is packing…it’s the wild wild west in Arizona…

Out to dinner with the family!! We ate at this really good Japanese restaurant and then went and saw the new MIB3 movie….so fun!!

My nephew Kaleb’s “pets”…lizards who not only chow down on lettuce but live bugs..yuck! and yes that is his pet tarantula..freaky freaky!!!

Such a pretty drive on our way to this desert bar that is all solar powered! This bar is totally in the middle of the desert once you drive the 5 miles of dirt road to get there it’s like bam out of nowhere is this really cool bar! And yes it is a family friendly bar!

It was Memorial Day Weekend so I thought it would be fitting to include this awesome display they have in town in Lake Havasu, thanks so much to those currently serving and those who have for all your service so we can  enjoy our freedoms!
