Arnie's review:  Savages

So the first preview I saw for the movie Savages I was actually a little excited.  I wish now that I had only seen the preview for this hunk of shit.  So the movie is about these two drug dealers who are approached by a Mexican drug cartel to join their businesses together.  Now they try to make these two DRUG DEALERS out to be really good guys.  The hippie guy uses a lot of his money to help thrid world countries get computers, drinking water and everything the poor need today.  The other guy is an ex-Navy Seal who suffered lots from the wars in the Middle East and now he is home taking care of his business.  The two DRUG DEALERS share Blake Lively as a girlfriend and everyone is ok with the situation.  Well the two DRUG DEALERS say NO to the cartel because they are looking to get out of the drug business, and of course you don't say no to any cartel.  So the cartel kidnaps the DRUG DEALERS girlfriend, and use her as bait/ransom to get the boys to play ball.  Not only do the two guys deal drugs but they also launder money and kill people as well.  Now these are the kind of heroes we need in movies right?  Not to mention John Travolta playing a crooked D.E.A. agent who is on the take from both the DRUG DEALERS and the cartel.  The boys decide to play hardball with the cartel until they get their way.  I'm sorry but I couldn't find anyone in this movie to root for.  This would be like a movie where Al Queada takes on the Joker.  Who in the fuck do you root for?  So needless to say I wanted to see everyone die in the movie and spoiler alert, that doesn't happen. Since I'm not some fuckin' hippie pot head I guess I was rooting for the cartel and I guess that makes me a bad guy.  I do know that I hated this movie and really wonder why a hunk of shit like this was even fucking made!!!!!!!!!!!!!
