As you've probably figured out by now, I do a LOT of golfing! Because I get to see a lot of courses and play a lot of greens, I've decided to have a do keep an official reviews page for all the courses I play.

Ok, so I know I've waited long enough to get another Reno/Sparks golf course in the mix, but I have done it. Redhawk was one of the very first places I ever played. I remember wearing a pair of high top Nike turf baseball shoes the first time I played. Things have changed a lot since then, including the course. I was really excited to do this one because it has always been a favorite of mine.

Here we are on the first tee, and the red team is ready to go. Aren't Rob and Larry a cute couple with their matching outfits? (They claim this was a complete accident by the way. Right)

Here's a look at the par 5 number 2 hole. Redhawk has 105 bunkers on the course. I did not hit one in on this hole, I actually pared the hole.

This is a great par 4, I think it's the third hole, with water protecting to the right, and out of bounds on the left. Yes, I went OB on this one.

Number 10, this is where my game went to complete shit. I hit it in the houses first then roasted one down the middle, only to go into the houses again.

Well, my round is completely terrible. I have resorted to using an orange ball I found on the course because I didn't want to lose anymore good balls.

This is the signature 17th par 3 over water. Sure you can bail out left, but I wanted to hit it in the water, and I did, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

1/2 a ball. This is the lowest single score I have ever given. The greens absolutely SUCKED!!!!!!! They hadn't be mowed, there was sand all over them, they were slow, and the people in the shop didn't tell us about that, but still charged us the same.

I don't know how they get away with charging soooooo much, especially when the course was in the shape it was in.

2 balls. This is being very generous, due to the fact that I do really like this course. I wish I would have known about the greens. I wish there was a way they didn't have to rape us with the fees for the shape they were in.
