As you've probably figured out by now, I do a LOT of golfing! Because I get to see a lot of courses and play a lot of greens, I've decided to have a do keep an official reviews page for all the courses I play.

Hey everybody, I've been out and playing some really fun courses. Thanks to the guys at The Ridge golf course in Auburn, California for having me come out. The Ridge is really one of the best courses in the area, as they get ready to host the LPGA's Longs Drug event. Here's a look at us going back up to the Ridge playing it before this week's tournament.

Here's a look at my afternoon at The Ridge...

Here is the par 5 number 2 hole at The Ridge golf course. This is truley a cool hole that has hazard, rough and water all coming into play. I did not hit it in the water..

This is Dawn's husband "Dumb-Dumb" ejoying a whole entire hour away from Dawn. If he looks confused in this photo, it's cause I asked him what color an orange was to break his concentration. It worked. He is still standing there right now.

This is what you are if you don't play this golf course.

Balls don't look like this anymore. The course is in great shape.

Wow, had a great day at this BEAUTIFUL golf course. Can't WAIT to play it again..

So here is my overall rating for The Ridge...

Staff/ Service:
3.5 balls. The guys in the shop are awesome, and really made us feel welcome and like we could have a good time. There was no beverage cart out for us, and they sent people out on the backside in front of us costing them a half a ball. Oh, and the marshall was a real "treat."

*Greens:*

4 balls. The Ridge has some of the hardest greens in town to read, but they are really fun to play.

*Fairways:*
3 balls. They're in great shape! Lots and lots of roll.

Price:

Well worth the money.

3.5 balls. The course is in wonderful shape. They're going to have an LPGA event out there on the week October 3rd - 9th, 2005. If you've never played here, play here this upcoming week. It'll be worth the drive (... "drive," get it? Dawn, that's a golf joke).
