The TPC Sawgrass Stadium course is a course I have wanted to play for the longest time, and finally got to do so. This is the course that has the famous Island Green that I was able to get on in my first shot, don't ask me about my putting. We were paired up with a couple of really nice guys from New York City and they were fun to play with.

Here's a look at the course at Sawgrass....

Here we are at the practice range at Sawgrass.

This is the opening hole at Sawgrass, a long hard par 4.

Hole #2 at Sawgrass, one of the hardest and dumbest par 5's I've ever played.

I forgot why I took this.

This is the par 5, 16th hole, where I had a chance for par, but blew it again.

Here is the island 17th hole, par 3, 138 yards.

This is me getting ready to hit it on the green.

It's in the air... it has a chance!!!

Hell yeah baby!!! It's on!!!

I still three putted for a bogey.

This is where the "employed rommate's" ball ended up.

Speaking of the "employed roommate," this is him holding a camera left by the group playing in front of us. This camera now has a picture of my ass on it.

Hole #18... THANK GOD!! This is one hard course!!

So here is my overall rating for Sawgrass...
Staff/
Service:
3 Balls, not the friendliest people in the world, but not too bad. I think the starter was a little over friendly and the starter just blabbed on and on and on, till we finally got to tee off.
Greens:
4 balls, the greens were in AWESOME shape. Playing in Florida you have to learn how to put on Bermuda greens and that means you have to know which way the grain goes. If I knew that then I would have shot a lot better.
Fairways:
4 balls, in great shape, and if you didn't hit the ball in the wide fairways the rough would hurt you as it did me.
Price:
Again you had to stay to play there and their was an extra charge to play the stadium over the valley course, but it was worth it for hole 17 alone. And again I didn't have to pay.
Overall
Rating:

3.5 balls, I was sooooooo happy to play this course finally. It is for sure a course I want to play again and again, hopefully I won't have to pay again, maybe I should ask Rob to take me there.
