Ok, so a buddy of mine told me that I had to try out the new John Daly designed golf course in Corning, CA.  After driving there I still am not sure exactly where Corning is, but I know it's far!!!!!  But I also know that it is worth the drive!!!!!  Get ready because this course is not for short hitters at all.  As you can see by the scorecard below, from the tips it is over 7800 yards, and they can move every tee back to make the course play to 10,000 and every hole is a par 5!!!!!  Thank God it wasn't playing that long on my round.

Here's a look at my afternoon at Sevillano Links...

This is a look down the first hole at the John Daly Sevillano Links golf course in Corning, CA.  It is a downhill then uphill par 5!!!!!!

Here's a look at the number 3 hole, as you can see not a hole lot of trees to get in your way on this golf course.

This is a look at what a 272 yard par 3 looks like from the back tees.  This was the only hole I played from the tips and I bogeyed it.

DAMN!!!!!!! This golf course is long and hard, I am working my ass off today!!!!!!

This looked to be a simple enough hole, to bad I decided to shank one off into the crap on the right!!!!!!!!!!
So here is my overall rating for Sevillano Links...
Staff/
Service:
4 Balls.  EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!  Not only do they come out to your car and pick up your clubs, they also listen when there is a problem.  We had some idiots try to cut in front of us on the course and the pro was out there to move them back into place.  Great JOB!!!!!!!!!!
Greens:
3.5 balls.  They were a little bit on the shaggy side but that's what happens on new golf courses.  But being so long you would expect some forgiveness but they are NARROW!!!!!!!!  Hit the fairway if you want to score.
Fairways:
2 balls.  That is only because they are new.  They are a little long but that is what is expected on a new course.  But they actually hold really nicely.
Price:

Not too bad, only about $60 bucks to play and worth every penny if you want a challenging golf course.

Overall
Rating:

3.5 balls.  I would love to give them 4 balls but we have to wait until the greens grow in.  This is probably the nicest new golf course I have played in a long long time.  The course is nice and the staff is good enough to get you going and keep you going as well.
