As you've probably figured out by now, I do a LOT of golfing! Because I get to see a lot of courses and play a lot of greens, I've decided to have a do keep an official reviews page for all the courses I play.
Here's a quick breakdown of my ratings system: |

It's time for another course review, and let me tell you I lucked out this time. I got to play Shadow Lakes. Your probably saying where the hell is that, well it's down in Brentwood, no not the O.J. Brentwood the one down near Antioch. Now your probably saying, "Oh my God that is so far away". If you know me you know I don't like leaving the Roseville area, but now hear this, I will play the course again, and again because it was flat out awesome!!!!!!! It is soooooooooooo worth the drive that I can't say enough good things about it. This is one of the funnest courses I've ever played, lots of great holes, that don't look the same like you get on other courses, and alot of great views on the golf course of Mt. Diablo. There are a few holes that you have to drive over water to a green protected by more water. If you hit the fairway you are completely reward with great roll. The only bad thing I have to say about it is, well nothing, it was that much fun. Thanks to Tim, and Al for having me out.
Here's a look at my afternoon at Shadow Lakes.... |

Hello Ladies, here he is my employed roomate looking to get beat at another round of golf. Thanks to the Great folks at the Shadow Lakes for an awesome day, and they even gave us our own driving range, too bad it didn't help the roomate..

Here is a look at the first hole at Shadow Lakes, it didn't look that tough, but if you check the scorecard I believe a combined total of 12 was made.

Allright, so we didn't do that good on the first hole, but here on the par 5 second, I got my first par of the day, the roomate didn't.

Man I look good, I told my roomate to get a picture of me with water in the backround, he first said impossible but he did find a way to do it.

This is a look at some of the finishing holes, the one to the far right is number 16 and it is awesome, a downhill par 4 that you have to be careful of because the green is on a peninsula, I did not par that hole.

Do you see that water on the far right, well my ball saw it up close and personal.

Here I am on the previously mentioned par 4 16th hole. I thought I hit a good shot, too bad it was way short.

Here's a picture for Dawn and all you women out there, a lovely look at the sunset overlooking number 17 a long par 3 over water, and yes I went in the water.
