Wow!!! That's one way of putting my Troon North experience. Two great golf courses that really test you as a golfer. The Monument side you can find on many video games and it lives up to those games as well. A tough desert golf course that will bite you in the ass if your not playing well. The Pinnacle side is a little bit easier but the desert comes into play there just as much. It's in Scottsdale, AZ and I highly recommend you play this course if your ever down that way.

Here's a photo recap of my day at Troon North...

Here's a look at the opening hole at Troon North. This is the Pinnacle side. Great starting hole.

Still on the Pinnacle side, a great golf course that I got to play by myself.

Now we venture over to the Monument side. It's ranked in the top 20 you can play in America.

You can play this course on pretty much all the Tiger Woods video games, and the holes are pretty damn realistic.

Troon North is an awesome golf course that is really tough.

This is the finishing hole on the Monument side. A real tough test of all your golfing ability.

So here is my overall rating for Troon North...
Staff/
Service:
4 Balls. Awesome customer service, they will clean your shoes for you, as well as get you out if they can a bit earlier than your tee time.
Greens:
3 Balls. Very fast and lots of break everywhere. I don't think I made one putt over 4 feet.
.
Fairways:
3 Balls. Great looking fairways but they are ALWAYS cart-path only and that really sucks.
Price:

Very expensive so thanks Rob for the golf.

Overall
Rating:

3.5 Balls. This course would easily be a 4 ball course except for the fact that it is ALWAYS cart-path only. Other than that it is one of the nicest places I've ever played.
