WOW!!!!! That is about the only way to describe the newly renovated Trump National Golf Course in Los Angeles. The course used to be named Ocean Trails, that is until the 17th and 18th holes washed away after a big rainstorm. Donald Trump sank a ton of money into renovating the course and making it better. We were told that he did the whole course not just 17 and 18 and did it show. If you are ever in L.A. and have time to play go here.

Here's a photo recap of my day at Trump National Golf Club....

Here is the number one hole at the new Trump National Golf Course just south of L.A. Yes, that is a waterfall behind the green.

These are the kinds of looks you get all over the golf course. Every hole you can see the ocean.

This is the 8th hole, a par 3. I found it funny that there was a water hazard on a course on the ocean.

This has to be one of the most picturesque golf courses that I have ever played.

This is one of two holes (17,18) that fell into the ocean a few years ago and they have finally gotten them back and ready for golf.

Here is the finishing hole. It was truly an amazing golf course.

So here is my overall rating for Trump National Golf Club...
Staff/
Service:
3 Balls. The staff was very friendly and got us started with no problems, except for the GPS in the golf carts didn't work and the course isn't marked very well at all.
Greens:
4 Balls. These greens were in such great shape, even after a lot of rain. If you play there make sure you play everything to break to the ocean. I mean EVERYTHING!
.
Fairways:
3.5 Balls. They would have gotten a four but with all the rain we couldn't drive on the fairways and that just sucks, but they were still in good shape.
Price:

It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it. It's not as expensive as Pebble Beach, but it could be because it's that good.

Overall
Rating:

3.5 Balls. Look here, this is probably one of the best courses in the country, and will be recognized as such in the next few months. It is well worth the money to play, and they don't even have a hotel there they make you stay at to play the course. Great course play it as soon as you can..
