Here's a course alot of people have wanted me to review, Whitney Oaks. This I would have to say is one of the hardest golf courses in Northern California. But also it's pretty fair if you hit a good shot, and in my case that's not too often out here. It is a tough track but you can still have alot of fun on this course as long as you don't think you can play from the tips. Shannon and his staff do a wonderful job of getting people out and around the golf course.

Here's a look at my afternoon at Whitney Oaks...

This is a look at the second hole at Whitney Oaks, you have to lay up or else you'll end up in the water. Which is what I didn't do this time.

Here's a picture of me on the next hole, pounding a 4 wood about 225 yards down the middle, that was my really only good shot that whole day.

You can't really tell, but this is a one armed golfer! How cool is that!

Is it me or am I getting fatter as the day goes on????

Here's a look at one of the hardest driving holes, number 14. You have to hit a big cut but avoid the trees to have an easy second shot. Not only didn't I hit a cut, but I didn't get it past the ladies tees, thanks to that big ass tree.
.

Here's Dawn's husband "Dumb-Dumb"... oops, I mean "Terry"... on the 17th tee box, no he didn't hit the house, he was just short.

Finally our day is almost over!!!!!!! I played so bad this day but had a good time, yea right.

So here is my overall rating for Whitney Oaks...
Staff/
Service:
4 balls. Like I said Shannon and his staff do a great job. It helps that Shannon is a big UT fan as well. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, something nice to see every once in a while.
Greens:
4 balls. These could be the trickiest and nastiest greens in town, but what you see is what you get. If it goes two balls to the right, it will break that much, but do it quick because these greens are always fast.
Fairways:
4 balls. Nice firm fairways, the course drains pretty well, and you get distance from tee shots. Very important, especially for me when I am struggling.
Price:

Not too bad, only about $60 bucks to play and worth every penny if you want a challenging golf course.

Overall
Rating:

4 balls. Great golf course, people always ask me where they can have a challenge, and Whitney Oaks is really a tough challenge.
