2006 BAD NEWS ARCHIVES The 2006 Bad News Over Happy Music Hall of Fame... "FOREIGN BAD NEWS" A Pakistani man was so excited to marry his fiancée, he showed up at her house and started firing his gun in the air in celebration. A bullet struck his soon-to-be bride. He thought he had killed her, so he immediately turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Turns out the bullet only grazed her: Story "BAD NEWS" A prisoner of 12 years was completely exonerated and released from jail because of overturned evidence. The day after he was released, he was killed in a hit and run accident: Story: Update!!! A family had their dog put to sleep because it was diseased and living in agony. They found out months later that the vet didn't put the dog down, but resold it to another owner. Months later, the dog finally died, having lived its last months in pure anguish: Story A horrible accident in Michigan left one girl (and 4 others) dead but one had survived and was in a coma. Weeks later, the bandages were removed and authorities discovered the identities of the two girls were mixed up and the girl they thought was in a coma was one of the ones who died in the crash (once again, killing a total of 5 people): Story: Update!!! This kid was preparing for a tricky golf shot when he lost his footing and fell down a hill. In a freak accident, his golf club snapped in half and his neck was impaled on the severed golf club shaft. He's dead: Story: Update!!! In Detroit, a boy's mother collapsed because of a heart attack. When the 9 year old called 911, he was hung up on... twice... because they thought he was playing: Story: Update!!! This lady went out for a night of drinking and partying. When she returned back home (to the shelter where she was staying) she crawled into bed with her baby and put a bucket next to the bed in case she got sick. The next day, her baby was found... drowned in the bucket of vomit: Story: Update!!!
