As you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, however we have come across a great organization that you can use beyond the Month of October! They are called ‘Mobile Mammography Unit.’ Each month they set up their unit in various areas in Northern California, I encourage you to give them a call to see when they might be in your area or near where you live or work so you can set up an appointment. Speaking of which on October 23rd, they will be in Rancho Cordova at the Safeway located at 10635 Folsom Blvd and I will be stopping by to get my first Mammogram and yes it will be video taped for the Members site!!! To check and see if they have any available appointments that day or any other please call 209-944-8355. Below is some awesome information about them, and remember to do your monthly breast exams!
