It's A Wonderful Life!!!!
ARCHIVES

CHRONOLOGICAL ARCHIVES

Hey everybody!! Welcome to my "It's a Wonderful Life" page. Okay, somebody PLEASE tell me, is it too much to ask for a little LESS negativity shoved in our faces every single day?!? It seems like everywhere we turn we are hammered by all the awful things in life... the television news, newspapers and magazines all pushing the violence, the gore, the pain, suffering, and failure in our world. Nobody ever wants to talk about the good things in life... people helping other people, human beings overcoming unbeatable odds, people growing and learning to overcome the things that ALL of us struggle against every single day. With the playful disapproval of my grumpy partners (that would be YOU Rob and Arnie!!!!) I have decided to dedicate this new webpage, my "It's a Wonderful Life" page to point out all of the positives in this world in the face of all the negatives. Are there evil people in the world? Of course there are!! Do bad things happen daily? Unfortunately yes. But where there is bad, there is good that exists in overwhelming numbers. I tell you this now, and I believe it with all that life has taught me... human beings who embrace love and kindness are the silent majority in this world, and it is time that the majority is heard. Whatever hardships come your way in life... however hard your path may seem, never lose sight of the joys and the gifts in this world. The title of this webpage is also a slogan to live by... "It's A Wonderful Life." I hope that this webpage can be a reminder of just how wonderful life can be.

TODDLERS AND TIARAS

Has anyone seen this show?? Holy crap really are you kidding me…last week Rob wrote in his soapbox about kids and the people that have them and this show is a perfect example of folks who might have had kids for all the wrong reasons! These little girls  are like dolls to their Mother’s..tons of makeup, fake eye lashes, fake tans, hair extensions, wigs… a little girl goes from looking like she is 4 to looking like she is 15, that shit just ain’t right!

The most disturbing part are the Moms, it’s all about them, they even admit they want all the attention and will win at any cost. One mother says it gets pretty ugly if her 4 year old daughter isn’t cooperating properly, hey lady she is 4, she shows her daughter the $350 bathing suit she bought her for her upcoming pageant and the little girl isn’t acting as happy as her mom thinks she should be so  the mom proceeds to tell her how much the bathing suit cost so she better get interested…great parenting. I am so disturbed right now watching this, really you put your little girls thru this because it’s your dream and your time to shine, that’s awesome that your child was put on this earth for your amusement. A Mother just said ‘I like to put her in the glitz and glamour pageants because I like the glitz and glamour’…key word ‘I’…so instead of finding out what kind of personality or interests your little girl may have you are just gonna force your wants for her on her. Come on I understand when you sign your little girl up for dance classes, or some kind of sport but this is way beyond that this is a total lifestyle that is taken way too seriously especially since it’s mainly the moms competing with the moms as to who has the prettiest girl and that somehow solidifies them as women….head is spinning right now! The best part of this show so far is one little girl won the grand prize and all she cared about were the balloons and how fun the balloons were! Now that is a sign of Wonderful when a kid can just be a kid!
