So Hollywood decided to give us another weekend of crap sandwiches and I didn't go to the movies. But I did see a movie on cable last week that I remember seeing as a kid and not getting. The movie Alien Nation is about Aliens that land in L.A. and start to adjust to living on Earth. That is until the greedy side of the Aliens want to live the good life and start dealing drugs to other aliens. James Caan and Mandy Pantankin are partners, Caan is a Human and a damn good cop because he wears a Dallas Cowboys shirt. Now they are trying to figure out why all these aliens are acting up, and committing crimes because these aliens are a pretty peaceful people. That is until they get the drugs in their systems. Oh, and there is one other thing. Salt waters is like battery acid to them. So once again we have this "genius" society that travels from planet to planet and they stop at one that is 75 percent salt water. And of course why don't they move to the one place that it is all over the place, Los Angeles!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean do they not realize that the midwest doesn't have ANY salt water around it so they are for the most part as safe as humanly or alien possible. But no, they live in L.A. around salt water and we are supposed to buy this crap. It's a good thing that Caan was wearing the Cowboys T shirt or I would have turned off my TV. This movie sucked when I saw it in the theatres and sucked even more last week on cable. I HATED THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
