THE BIG LEBOWSKI
Since I'm not into Tim Burton movies about children's books I didn't go to the movies this weekend. Instead I thought I would pay tribute to Jeff Bridges who at this time was still only nominated for an Academy Award, for his movie the Big Lebowski. Let me just say this, I have sat through this movie a few times and I have to honestly say that I don't get it. Don't worry I get the movie, but I don't get why people love this hunk of shit so much. I mean the "Dude" goes through a bunch of crap that is all because he has the same name as another guy who is in trouble with the wrong people. Now I don't know about you but this to me was done quite a few times before mainly on Three's Company. Too bad Three's Company was actually funny and made me happy. This movie made no sense to me and then to hear people quote this and say how great this movie is makes me believe that EVERYONE is on dope. Thank you Mr. Hand(from the GREAT movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High). If you get your kicks by seeing a guy stumble all over himself, and then have his whole life narrated by Sam Elliot then this is YOUR movie. Please NEVER show it on cable again, don't show it on regular TV and take it out of the video stores NOW. I HATE HATE HATE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
