So since Dawn tried to take over my movie review page with the latest in the Shrek movies I decided to see a cool movie. Crank 2 High Voltage with my man Jason Statham. The first movie followed him around after he was poisoned by a gang. The first movie ended with him falling out of a helicopter. This movie picks up right where he falls to earth and an Asian gang picks him up off the street to steal his heart. The leader of the gang wants his heart because he wants a heart that won't stop. So they steal his heart and replace it with an artificial one until he figures out their plan and wants his heart back. This movie is not quite as good as the first one, but it does kick some ass. To keep his fake heart beating he has to keep his body electrically charged. And he goes to great lengths to do so. From hooking up jumper cables to his nipples and tongue to actually stealing a police taser and shooting himself with it. Not only does this movie have tons of action but it's way dirtier than the first one too. He and his girlfriend not only get it on in public but they do it on a horse racing track in front of thousands of people. If your worried they replaced the doctor from the first one they don't. That's right Dwight Yoakum is back and fatter than ever. This movie has everything that an action movie should have. Totally unbelievable action scenes, gratuitous sex and plenty of ass kicking. Sure it's not as good as the first Crank movie, but I do LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
