Spring is here which means that Summer movie season is right around the corner and I am getting excited. For what I don't know yet, but this weekend it kicked off with the new Steve Carrell/Tina Fey movie Date Night. The movie is about a couple that seems to be stuck in their ways and looks to spice things up on their weekly night out. Instead of going to the same place they decide to try an upscale trendy place that they don't have reservations to. And when they are all but turned away they decide to use someone else's reservations and all comedy ensues. Well not quite. I HATE Tina Fey so no matter what she does I don't think is funny. Unless she were to jump off a tall building then I might get a chuckle, but sadly that doesn't happen. And as far as Steve Carrell goes I like him on TV but his movies SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to say that this movie is so over the top stupid that you can't even let yourself try to believe anything like this would happen. Really, they go to the city and she remembers a client who is like the greatest special op EVER and he helps them out. Oh, and how funny is the fact that they have to dress up like a pimp and a ho to get into a club to try and stop from getting killed?????????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I think I just kind of tinkled again. Oh, that's right I didn't do it the first time either. I have to say that I hated this movie because it really wasn't even as funny as the best foreign documentary from 1982 called My Left Tumor.
