FOLLOW THE SUN

Since Avatar was number one at the box office again and Hollywood didn't want me to go to the theatres, I decided to review one of my Christmas presents from this year. It's a movie that I have wanted for about 10 years and have never been able to find. Follow the Sun a movie about my favorite golfer Ben Hogans incredible life. The movie came out in 1951 and follows the way Hogan came up the ranks in the golf world until a bus accident almost killed him. Now I have to say that there were a bunch of things that I didn't like about this movie. One, Hogan was a Texan and had an accent that all of us GREAT Texans have. To bad Glen Ford didn't get that part of the movie right and he sounded like a wonderfully nice fellow from wherever the hell Ford is from( it ain't Texas). The other thing that I didn't like about the movie was it didn't really tell the truth about Hogan. What I mean is that the man was a chain smoker. He would only use two matches on the golf course, one at the beginning of the round, and then one after he ate at the turn. But it never showed him smoking once. I'm sure it's because he was the hero in the movie and they didn't want the hero back then to be a smoker. Even with those two big flaws I still LOVED this movie because it was about Ben Hogan. No matter what ANYONE says the GREATEST GOLFER TO EVER PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
