I know that there is a new version of this movie coming out in the future, and I'm NOT going to see it because it's NOT the Karate Kid. Ralph Machio and Pat Morita are the Karate Kid. If you haven't seen this movie than you have either been in a coma or under a rock or our producer Brandon. This is one of the all time good guy versus bad guy movies. Poor little Daniel Larruso moves to Resita, California from the East Coast and has no friends but then becomes friends with his buildings super. Along the way he falls for a girl who used to date a Karate man named Johnny and he makes life hell on Daniel. That is until Mr. Miagi steps in and makes him the Karate Kid. Now how can you NOT like a movie like that. You have a love story, a story of a man and boy becoming friends and of course you have Karate. Not good karate mind you but Karate non the less. I try and watch this movie every time it's on TV because it was that good. Sure Ralph Machio was like 37 when he filmed the movie but he did a great job, well for his acting level. If your ever on You Tube look for the video for Sweep the Leg Johnny. It's great. Not as great as the Karate Kid, but most karate movies aren't. Needless to say, I LOVE this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
