I really don't like 3-D movies and I try really hard NOT to go to them but this movie looked to good to pass up. Piranha 3-d came out last weekend and of course I want to see fish eat people. The movie takes place in Arizona during Spring Break at some made up lake. The week before there was an earthquake in the lake and it opened up a porthole from the past. It released thousands of Piranha's into the lake and that's when the carnage began. This movie is full of gore gore gore. I couldn't get enough of seeing people being eaten to where when they pulled them out of the water their top halves were detached from their bottom halves. The best part of that for me is that someone actually had to audition for that part. Do they walk into the office and say, " I'm hear for random girl that gets ripped in half"? If so job well done. This is not a great scary movie. Nor is it a great gross gorey movie, but it is cheesy enough for you to laugh a whole bunch during the movie. I have to say that I enjoyed when Jerry O'Connel got his wiener bit off and then the piranha's fought over it, and then puked it up so another one could then eat it. Or the part where one of the fish started in a girls stomach and then worked his way up and then ate through her face. Too bad they made a joke out of it by saying these were only the baby piranha and we need to worry about the parents, BLACKSCREEN!!!!!!!! For doing that I have to say that I hated this movie because I am NOT sitting through another one of these flicks.
