September 15th, 2008 Here's my review for... RIGHTEOUS KILL Finally a good movie is out in theatres. Righteous Kill, staring two of the best. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. I pretty much love anything that Al Pacino is in after his role in Scent of a Woman when he tells those kids to FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But the movie is about two cops in NYC that are starting to have enough of the system and think about taking the law into their own hands. Deniro is is usual cool, kickass self, and Pacino is Pacino. Minus the yelling. Which by the way I missed terribly. Yes, near the end his voice did start to pick up and it made me very very happy. The movie has a bunch of really cool kill scenes, and let me say that Deniro is a cop I would not mess with. All in all I have to say that this is one of the better movies I have seen in a while. I do wish we could do some cop movies that weren't based in New York City, oh but wait, what am I thinking that's the only place that crime happens. I did love this movie though.
