Ok, so nothing came out this weekend at the box office that looked any good, so I was flipping around on cable the other day and found one of my ALL TIME favorite movies. Al Pacino's Scent of a Woman. Now, I don't like this movie because it shows the friendship that is developed between a former soldier who is now blind and a boy at a private school that is finally taught to stand up for himself. No, the reason I LOVE this movie is that this is the movie that started to change Al Pacino into a real yeller at the movies. If you look at his work before this, he was always in control and always kept together. But in this movie he lets it all hang out. My favorite scene of course is at the end of the movie when Lt. Col. Slade decides to help Charlie out at his hearing. When Lt. Col. Slade calls out the boys of Billy Brian and Johnny FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! To me that is what movies are all about!!!!!!!!! I would love to go to a private school and be able to yell obscenities at the kids, hell that is one of the only reason that I want to have kids, but we know they won't be going to no private school. I'm going to keep this short and just say that I think I have seen this movie over 50 times because I LOVE IT, WHOO HA!!!!!!!!!!!
