I have to admit, the first time I saw the trailer for the new movie The Goods I was VERY excited. It had one of my favorite actors Jeremy Pivin from Entourage in it. So I thought this movie was going to be funny. Then I found out it was made by the same guys who made Step Brothers and Talladega Nights. I knew it had to be funny. Then I saw the previews, and was really hoping that this wouldn't be like all the other movies out there and show all the funny parts in the trailer. Guess what????? THEY DID!!!!!!!!!!! The movie The Goods doesn't live up to it's name. It should be called The Try To Hards. This movie made you feel like when you go to your favorite place to eat and you decide not to get what you normally get, which is amazing but you want to try something new. And that something new just happens to suck and leave you feeling not full or satisfied. It makes you feel like an idiot for not getting what you usually get, and you want to drive by a fast food place just to fill you up. I wanted to drive by a video store after seeing this movie and get a good funny movie that would actually make me laugh. The movie is about a bunch of over the top car salesmen who go to dying businesses and help them get back on their feet. The problem with it was that Jeremy Pivin didn't play a character worth a crap!!!!!!! Sure the previews look like he has a set of balls but then you see the movie and you walk out like me calling him a pussy. Sure, there are a few funny parts in the movie too bad once again we saw them in the previews. I should have known that if James Brolin is in the movie it's not going to be funny or even good. At least his son Josh didn't show up and completely wreck this movie. I do thank God that the movie is barely an hour and a half long. I can't wait until I'm on my death bed and I'm thinking about all the time that I have wasted in my life, I might just punch myself in the nuts when I think about seeing this movie right when I'm about to croak by then I might have forgiven myself for thinking this movie was going to be funny. Needless to say, I HATED this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!
