September 8th, 2008 Here's my review for... Waterboy Well, football season is here, which means the movies in the theatre SUCKED this weekend and I wanted to do a football movie. I looked back and couldn't believe that I didn't do one of my favorite football movies. The Waterboy. This was one of Adam Sandlers last funny movies. This was one of the first that he did a terrible accent in but atleast it worked. It's a story about some sort of retard that just likes to get a football team water. When he stands up for himself against bullys he's fired by the coach. Played exceptionally by the late Jerry Reed(one of the reasons this movie didn't suck). So he has to get another waterboy job at some shitty school in Louisiana. I know, I should be more spacific but I don't want to pick on that shitty state too much. He gets the job as water boy thanks to coach Henry Winkler(the Fonze) and discovers that he has a ton of rage that he needs to get out of his system and that football is the best way to do it. Not only does this movie have great actors like I have mentioned there is also a donkey that lives with the Waterboys mother, and you can't EVER go wrong with a live in DONKEY!!!!!!!! As far as football movies go, this is a good one, and pretty funny too. All in all I do love the Waterboy. And I do miss Jerry Reed. Rest in piece Snowman!!!!!!
