X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE

The first "BIG" movie of the year came out over the weekend. Wolverine, staring Hugh Jackman and I have to say that I was kind of looking forward to it. See I kind of liked the character in the X-Men movies. I have to tell the truth, I didn't really read the X-men comics growing up so I didn't know everything about them like some looser who lives in his mothers basement. I just thought he was cool because he had claws that grew out of his hands. That was until I saw the movie. You see I didn't realize that Wolverine is about 300 years old. Did you also know that he has fought in pretty much EVERY war that America has had???? I didn't know that, and thought it was stupid. I always thought he was in the military and they made him the way he was. You know with the claws. But those were his from the beginning. He was a mutant in the old days, and just so happened to live forever. I know, it's just a movie, but kind of a shitty movie at that. The movie goes back and looks at what he has done in the past and how he feels bad for doing it and quits. The of course the "evil" government guy comes looking for him so he can make a SUPER MUTANT to destroy all the other mutants on Earth. And by the way, why do we need ANY sort of love story to be in an action/comic movie????? Just give me lots of action and little story. What I'm saying is bring back some good Steve Segal movies. Back before he became and activist and ate whales. Of course this movie had some sort of message in it, but lucky for me I didn't pay any attention to that and was only watching for action, which by the way was a little too little and a little too late. I hated this movie and was hoping to get a case of the runs during it so I didn't have to stay and see the whole thing.
