Arnie's Favorite Golf Pants
February 11th, 2009

Ok, so last week I shared with everyone most of my fantastic sweatervests. This week as promised I am showing you my AMAZING plaid pants. I know that Rob will make fun of these because yet again he knows it takes a special man to pull these off.

These are the pants that started it all. I remember when I saw them I knew that they had to be mine. They look great with white shoes and pretty much any color shirt.

I usually wear these on the Fourth of July. Mainly because of the red, white and blue. And if your wondering...... Yes, I have a pair of red, white and blue wingtips to go along with them.

These are the shorts that Rob says are the "worst". I know that means he thinks they are pretty much awesome and he wants a pair, but knows that we both can't have them because we might wear them the same day we golf. Which has happened with the almost same color of green shirt.

I really don't know why I got these because they have way too much pink in them. These are laundry day golf pants, which means when all my good plaids are getting washed, these get worn.

I got these at the same time I got the green ones that Rob likes so much. I got these because of two reasons. A) I needed a black pair of plaid shorts, and B) They were only $4 online.

Ok, we are now down to my two favorite pair of pants. These "tarten" pants(I think that's what the Brits call plaid) I knew I had to have because they are really something that I think Rodney Dangerfield would have worn. And if they are good enough for Rodney, then they are perfect for me.

Now, we are looking at my FAVORITE golf pants. I really don't know how to describe these. I can say they are an ode to my dad. He had a pair of these terrible sofa cushion pants when I was growing up and I remember a puppet at a mall during Christmas spotted my dad wearing these and made fun of him for them. When I saw these it reminded me of how embarassed my mom was at the time, so I hope I bring that to all of my playing partners on the course when I wear these.
