Arnie's Labor Day Vacation

Well, well well, how did I spend my second summer vacation(paid).  It started off by going to the fair again and trying the Deep Fried White Castles.  They are mini burgers if you've never had them before. 

Ok, so here I go diving into these wonderful treats.  Usually they aren't that big, but with all the breading it was like eating an orange.  Except that oranges don't taste that good.

And the verdict is in.......Thumbs up, except for the fact that there is too much breading on the burger.  The middle part is amazing and worth waiting in line for.

How can you not go to a state fair and have a corny dog????? Sure they aren't as good as Fletchers Corney Dogs at the State Fair of Texas but it was still pretty damn good.

I think the sign said that they love orange chicken or something like that.  I just love the color orange for the Texas Longhorns so I cut it off there. 

So we were at the fair and there was a concert that someone that I'm married to wanted to see and here is a look at the wonderful box office to get tickets to see the shows. 

Thank God that we found a guy scalping tickets to the show and I didn't have to waste the money on crappy tickets.  The guy had these VIP passes that included a buffet and desert as well.  The desert sucked but the dinner wasn't bad.

So while on vacation(paid) of course I played some golf.  I have been having a real problem with my swing and most of the time was spent at the range working on the swing.  By the way it's fixed and I'm ready to play.

Of course on vacation(paid) I had to play a bunch of Madden 09.  Just to let everyone know, I did win the Superbowl with the Cowboys.  I beat the Browns by a score of 107-14.  I know, I'm pissed I gave up 14!!!!!!!!

So my wife decided to wake me up when she got up for work one day because I think I was going to play golf.  She wanted to cut the sleeves of a shirt, but didn't know what to do with them.  We now have wonderful new sleeping caps.

So back at the golf course on my second summer vacation(paid).  I was actually pumped because the cigar I had was free and I played really well again.

The best thing about the second summer vacation(paid) isn't the paid part.  Even though that's not bad at all.  But it's the start of college football season.  I don't know how many games I watched but I know that the most important one was won by the Texas Longhorns 52-10 over Florida Atlantic.  HOOK'em HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
