Round 1 Of Dawn's Summer Vacation Photos Hello Everybody! What a great and relaxing 2 weeks off I had! Spent lots of quality time with my hubby, friends and family. It was pretty low key but enjoyable! I have a couple of rounds of photos for you, here is the first…hope you enjoy!
My niece Katie, (who is now 15 can’t believe it!!) Came to visit for a week, my sister Colleen dropped her off and spent the weekend with us. We all went to eat some yummy Mexican food before we went to the movies to see The Transformers (pretty good movie, Arnie was wrong again on yet another movie!!!) while we were there at the restaurant it was Mariachi hour and we got serenaded!
Off to Monterey to shop, eat and go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Katie being a teenager gotta make sure the eye makeup looks good!! Check out how freaken the penguins were, They all had their backs turned away from everybody!! If you look at the glass you can see Katie taking a picture of me taking picture of her!! Look at this bird standing on one leg, thought it was funny and cute!!
Here we all are at The Sacramento Sheriff K9 Associations golf tournament, of course Cristi, Brandon and I found our spots at the bar and camped out there getting a little buzzed! The guy with the blue polo shirt is Kevin, he is a cop in Stockton but before that Rob and I worked with him in radio in Tahoe then Reno with Arnie and he also worked at 98 Rock for a bit, it was such a trip running into him....in the red polo shirt is another Kevin he is a Sac Sheriff and married to my good friend Rachelle (not shown) and of course my sweet handsome hubby Gary, Rob and Shane also known as Officer Beefcake, as Cristi calls him!
Gary, Pops, my niece Katie and I all went to San Francisco for the day. Pops and Katie decided to watch a movie on the drive there so yes I took a picture of them watching movies!! Any who once we got there we took a tour of the University of San Francisco my niece Katie’s choice for college, it’s a Catholic University that’s why there is a huge cross on top of the building! Katie will be a Sophomore in High School but wants to get a head start on the planning, she is a very motivated girl.
Afterwards we did some shopping, shit load of sales going on! Then we got a bite to eat and while we waited for a table you can see Pops smoking…ignoring that he wasn’t allowed to smoke out on the balcony, he has been smoking forever and is old school about it, he hates that there is hardly anywhere left anymore that he can smoke and is a rebel about it!! The weather was so nice and cool we decided to eat outside, love the weather in the bay area!!
So I am a bit overweight these days, well actually a lot overweight!! So it was time to get my ass up and moving which I started doing on vacation with my trainer Kacie from Guiding Fitness..here is a before the workout photo and an after, yes before I am smiling pretty big and well after I am pooped and sweaty!! Yeah Kacie is small but she knows how to kick your ass!! Yes this shows how un fun I am I exercised most of the days we were on vacation!!! |
