Dawn's Post-RAD-A-Thon Vacation Photos

Howdy Everyone!! Thanks so much for all the support and donations during our annual 29 hour RAD a thon to benefit the UC Davis Children’s Hospital it’s always so much fun to do! And I know you all really dig being able to hear us all throughout the day and night and it’s pretty cool for us too, well at least for me!! So as you know we took a week vacation after the RAD a thon and although I didn’t really do much I thought I would share with you the few photos I do have from that week…hope you enjoy!!



So for most of the vacation I had the freaken cold virus that is going around, man what a bitch that virus is!! shit just when you think it is gone some other symptom would show its ugly head!! Well at least the weather was perfect for being sick!! Lots and lots of rain, yes I even took a picture of the rain for you!!!


Finally one of the days I was feeling a tad bit better so we decided to get some lunch at one of our fav Mexican restaurants, they have the best soup, I know who goes to Mexican food for soup, well me!! Seriously they make their corn tortillas fresh everyday so you just dip em in this incredible fresh veggie soup they have, shit it is yummmmy!! Oh yeah and their margaritas are pretty freaken good as well!! Do you love Pops’s mob looking hairdo!!


It was so great to run into some awesome listeners when Gary and I were out one night for our friends little boys birthday party…these gals were so fun to chat with, they have been listening for years and I really appreciate it!! In the middle is Allison and next to her is Sonja, hey girls it was great chatting with you!!! Of course the other photo is me with my sweet hubby Gary as we were leaving the party….


OMG!! I found the BEST recipe for bruschetta, it’s fresh basil, roma tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, garlic, olive oil and balsamic vinegar sooooooooooooooooooooooo dang good, don’t they just look so yummy! We had dinner one night over at Rob and Janell’s and this is what I brought for an appetizer..


Janell and I hanging out before dinner, the first photo she is laughing so hard cause just before I took the photo I farted!!! Classy I know!!!!! I’m a lady!!!



Holy crap this Chicken was fantastic!!! And yes Rob used Free range chicken so that makes them what? That’s right Happy Chicken!! He also made us roasted potatoes and asparagus, fab-u-lous!!!



Before the boys went to play their usual rounds of pool I had to get a photo with my handsome husband!! Gary usually wins when they play but I think Rob kicked his ass that night!



Doesn’t this photo just make you smile!! Shep and Nellie are such adorable dogs, look how they get in the pose position for the photo!! Check out Shep’s “Stud” food bowl!!



For dessert Janell made a great fruit display with this AWESOME fruit dip! what a great way to get your daily servings of fruit in by having it for dessert! Yes Arnie that’s right we had fruit for dessert!
