Dawn's Country Style Christmas Tree
December 21st, 2007
Merry Christmas Everybody!! Okay so this is the first year that we have a FAKE Christmas tree. Boooooooo!! So we went looking for trees and nothing really grabbed us so we saw some fake ones that looked pretty okay and were the right height so we thought what the hey!! Also Rob has read enough stories of people who end up having spiders, snakes and rats in their real trees, so that has freaked me out enough to try the fake tree thing!! It’s a pretty neat tree but I do miss the smell of pine and the look of a real tree. I am NOT a fake tree convert, however I am not a fan of bugs either! So who knows which way I will go next year!! Any whoooo I thought I would share pictures of the tree and some new ornaments we added this year to our Country theme we stared last year. Hope you enjoy….Ho, Ho, Ho!!!
So here are a couple of shots of the fake tree, it’s pretty tall which we do like and I really like how our tree topper the Cowboy hat sits up top, howwwdddyyyyyy!!! Look how pretty with the lights on, love love Christmas lights! Can’t wait to go driving thru neighborhoods to check out all the lights. There are some fancy dancy houses down the way from where we live that go all out, these houses look like they are professionally done and its such a well hidden area that not a lot of people know about it so there are no traffic jams and you can slowly drive by each one and take it all in!! This is the MOST wonderful time of the year!!
So last year my hubby and I decided to go for a Country themed tree and we found an awesome Feed store in Loomis and a Christmas store in Folsom that carry a shit load of great country ornaments, we shared those with you last year and this year we found a few more to add to the tree and you just gotta see em!
Check out the tall skinny Cowboy soooo cute, that was actually a gift from Kyrie, she works with Brandon in the producers studio and is a doll!!
Well hey there lil partner, it’s me frosty the cowboy..hee hee, had to get the snowman dressed like a cowboy! Holy moly when I saw the lil piggy riding the tractor I soooo giggled and had to get it!
Hellooo check out the Cow with the candy cane in his mouth, the cow wearing a sweater and the cow with the slogan, ‘what part of moo don’t you understand, tooooo hilarious!! Love the moo moo cows!
Don’t ya just want a Country Christmas tree now???!!!!!
Hope you have enjoyed checking out our new ornaments and our fake (booooo) Christmas tree!! E-mail and let me know what you think!
