My photos from Our Trip to Reno to Broadcast Live from 105.7 FM, KOZZ!!!!!
3/14/07 -- 3/16/07

So for a couple of days the show broadcasted from our Reno station affiliate 105.7 FM, KOZZ. Oh my gosh, it was SOOOOOOOOOO great to be back in Reno doing the show from the SAME BUILDING we all worked in for like 7 years!! While we were there, I took some pictures of us in the KOZZ studio and of me visiting some friends and a surprise visit from my husband!!!! (Good morning baby!!! I love you so much!!! kiss kiss kiss). Hope you enjoy!

Okay, so a girl never knows what she for sure will feel like wearing, so for my 2 day trip to Reno, I brought 4 bags, which when you think about it is not that much because what if in the morning you need one outfit for work that looks really good and professional, but later on you're just going out for lunch with friends at Bully's and it's totally laid back and casual!! Plus, if plans come up at night where we need to meet up with people and go out to a nice restaurant, you don't wanna be like... "uh, well, I can't go to a nice restaurant with you because I only have two outfits for my two day trip!" And also, different shoes go with different outfits, so if you pack a lot of outfits to give you some options, there's not just one shoe that goes with that one outfit, it totally depends on how the feel of the day is. So see, 4 bags isn't that much!!!

My husband Gary is SUPER busy these days with work (and no, he doesn't work at the zoo Rob and Arnie!!!), but he found some time to surprise me at the hotel for a night so we could spend some time together!! It was so funny becasue I was actually talking on the phone with him and telling him how much I missed him and loved him when all of a sudden, there was a knock at my hotel door and I was like "oh my gosh, somebody is knocking on my hotel door, where's my gosh-dang gun," and when I opened the door... it was my amazing husband Gary!!!!!!! (good morning baby!! I love you!! kiss kiss kiss)

This is my sweetheart (I love you baby!!! kiss kiss kiss) and me in the elevator the next morning as I make my way to KOZZ and my darling husband makes his way back home. (Doesn't this picture make you think of that Aerosmith song "Love in an Elevator!!!" And hey... the thought did occur to us if you know what I mean!!! ;)

Yaaaaaaaay!!!! It's our first morning in the Reno studio at KOZZ!!!!! I took this photo when I came in at 4:55am (I came in a couple minutes earlier since we were doing the show in a new environment, you know, in case we needed to adjust to anything). Rob is hard at work getting the show ready. Look how nice the studio is here!!!

Good morning Arnie!!!!! This is Arnie making a silly face!! We put him as far in the corner as we could because the studio in Reno has lots of windows, and with Arnie's ADD, we had to keep him away from the windows and anything distracting!!

This is Rob during the commercial break doing more work for the show (Rob does all the work, Arnie and I just show up and hopefully we have something interesting to say!!!). Look how amazing the sunrise is coming over the mountains (a sunrise is God saying good morning to you and that he loves you). What a beautiful view!!! Reno is so pretty.

It's me!!! Yaaaaaaaaaay me!!!!!

Oh, this was soooo fun!!! Thursday morning when we got off the air, I went and spent some time with my friend Stephanie (you know, the "smart girl" who turned Arnie down live on the air because he wasn't active enough!!!). Here is my friend Stephanie with her ADORABLE little girl Samantha!!!

Awwwwwwwwww!!!!!! Look at little Sam!!!!! Isn't she precious!!!! We all went and ate at Arlington Gardens. Oh my gosh, they have the BEST marmalade salad!!!

This is the HUGEST pile of poop from little Sam!!!! Can you believe how much poop came out of this little person!!!!! (I mean Daaaang!!!!) If you look closely, you can see the Kiwi seeds from the Kiwi she had eaten!!!

Stephanie and I enjoying a visit at her house while little Sam takes a nap.

Okay, so now I'm back at my hotel room. These are the shoes I brought for my 2 day trip to Reno (yup, that's right, there are 9 pair!!!!). Hey, just like I mentioned in that first photo with my bags, you never know what you're gonna feel like wearing, and you have to have the shoes to match!!!

This is Rob in the KOZZ studio the next day before the show practicing his putting for a big golf tournament he and Arnie were playing in on Friday. Goooooooooo Rob and Arnie!!!!!!!!!!

This is SOOOOOO NASTY!!!!! "Executive Producer Nick" stole somebody's used, discarded room service meal as his "Listener Mail" sound effect. GROSS!!!!! This thing stunk SOOOOOO bad it almost gagged everybody in the room!!!

Even more disgusting was this... Nick actually licked this used knife that was on the room service plate. DISGUSTING!!!!

Yaaaaaaay!!!! This is us taking a photo with Steve Mikkelson, who runs the sports book at the Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino!!! Steve is the guy who calls in during Rob & Arnie's sports feature to make it interesting. Since we were in Reno, he got to actually stop by the studio to break down the March Madness thingy that all you boys are so excited about!! I picked Butler to win. Gooooooooooo Butler!!! (what a funny name!!!) Steve brought in some brownies that his wife made for the show. Arnie ate like 7 of them!!!!

This is our "Executive Producer Nick" in his studio looking hung over and surly!!! Since Nick didn't have a window where we could see him (like our studio in Sacramento does), Arnie would bang against the wall with the spatula to get Nick's attention (how funny is that!!!!)!!! This is Nick hard at work and looking annoyed that he has to talk to me!!

Before I left on Friday, I enjoyed some time with my friend Jessica. We have been friends for 14 years!!! She drove in from Fallon (yaaaaay Fallon!!) where her husband and 3 kids live on 10 acres!!!! (Land is so great!!!!) You should see their property, it is AMAZING!!!

Well, those are the photos I took. It was so wonderful to go back home where we all started our careers and lived out our young wild days!!! Drop me an email and let me know what you think of our trip to Reno!!!
