Dawn's Summer Vacation Photos - Part 3

Hello All!! So here we are with the 3rd round of my vacation photos!! This set of pic’s are of my sister and nieces that came to visit for a few days, also my friend Rachelle and I had a Martini lunch! And one of my girlfriends, Amanda turned 30 with a fun dinner party!! Hope you enjoy checking these out!!

As we all know living in Sacramento there isn’t anything to do with out of town guests except go to the movies or out to eat!! Usually when my sister comes to visit we go to San Francisco but they were here just for a short time so we headed out and had dinner in town, we still had a great time I love hanging out with my sister and neices and of course the alcohol helped!!! My nieces of course had virgin drinks, Katie is only 14 and Megan is 20, yahooooo one more year for Megan and she can have a few drinks with Aunt Dawn at a bar!!!!!

As you know I am back to eating meat, hey it lasted for 14 months!! Vegetarianism didn’t work for me after all, I ended up eating too many carbs!!! So here is a shot of me enjoying my Turkey Burger, ohhhhhh how I missed those, didn’t realize it until I took a bite!!!

Here we are being goofey in the car on the way home after dinner! Once we got home we changed into our jammies and watched movies for our big Saturday night!! Hey we stayed up til like 2 in the morning which is a big deal for me since I usually go to bed by 8p!!!! parrrrtyyy animals!!

My friend Rachelle and I just got done getting our toes and nails done, this is a regular routine for her and I and then we end up going for lunch and drinks afterwards!! The cool thing this time is I was on vacation so it didn’t matter that it was during the week in the middle of the day!!!!!!! Here we are enjoying yummy Martinis, see how this one has the dry ice effect!! We stayed for a few hours drinking and enjoying  salads and appetizers and catching up on all the gossip!!!

Our good friend Amanda recently turned 30 so of course her husband had a big surprise day for her which included dinner with a bunch of her friends, in this photo my sweet hubby and I are at the restaurant waiting her arrival and having a few drinky drinks!!

Yahooo it’s the birthday girl Amanda and her hubby Steve! You all have seen this couple many many o times on this website, Gary grew up with Steve since they were like 12! So thank god both their wives, Amanda and I  totally get along!! Love her like a sister!

The dinner is in fool swing and we are all enjoying some drinks, of course! The gal with Gary is Amanda’s sister Andrea who is also a teacher like her sister, she teaches at a high risk school, kudos to her for that high risk schools need good teachers just like her and should make the big bucks for doing so!!!

Amanda’s birthday cake was total heaven!! They got it at Ettore’s Bakery which has to die for cakes, this one had like vanilla cream filling with raspberry, helllloooooooo! This picture is so funny of Amanda cause you can tell she has had a lot of the vino!!!

Amanda has the nicest and funniest neighbors the photo with all the peeps  is them! Yeah okay that photo of me with the vodka tonic shows I have had one too many!! Hey I was on vacation you gotta live it up!! Her birthday was so much fun and her husband did a great job putting it together, you have to make the 30th special!!
