Dawn's Summer Vacation 2010 Part 2 Howdy all! Here is Round 2 of my vacation photos…running, troops and the movies about sums up what else I did on our break! Enjoy!
Here we all are Pre- race at the SSDK9 charity run, John and Lisa from JLC Construction (official contractor for the Rob, Arnie and Dawn show! www.calljlcfirst.com ) along with their good friend Tiffany and also joining us my close friend Rachelle who came not only to run with me but to support her fellow Sac Sheriff family!
After the race we went and said Hi to Officer Gregory also known as Officer Beefcake!!! He was with his awesome doggie Officer K9 Ronin! Holy shit that dog is strong it was a little scary playing with his tug toy with him….we also got to see the dogs in action as the K9 unit did a demonstration for all of us to show how amazing these dogs are!
How awesome looking are these cookies! My friend Lisa made them for the troops we were visiting that just got back from Iraq and Afghanistan at the Med Hold…they tasted pretty damn good to yes I had one soooooooooooo good!
Christy is the President of our Ladies Auxiliary group, here she is making sure all the food was good to go for the troops and those a part of the Medical unit that help to take care of the wounded warriors, we made hamburgers, chili, potato salad and cookies for them, thankfully they enjoyed it!!
Here are some of the Auxiliary gals after we served up lunch…Lisa, Lisa’s sister in law Denise, Sherry and Christy such great ladies!!
Thought these were some pretty neat plaques hanging up at the base..along with the line up of those that head up our Military, Commander in Chief, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Army..etc… Thanks to all of you that serve you are heroes and we appreciate you!
Over vacation the new Jennifer Aniston movie The Switch came out and her and I both gave it a thumbs up!! After the movie I went over to Laser Esthetica ( this is where Rob is getting his hair treatments, you can see the videos on our membership website, members.robarnieanddawn.com so join now!!) to get some of my favorite face cream to help the wrinkles!! While there I had a chance to chat with the hottie you see in the photo, their office manager Megan… Hope you enjoyed Round 2 of my vaca photos! |
