Okay, I know the boys (that's you Rob & Arnie!) are gonna make fun of me for this, but this is what I packed for our 2 day trip to Pebble Beach!! (Back me up ladies... it's all about options!!! I mean come on!!! Do you wanna be hundreds of miles away from your closet and have TWO choices of what to wear!!! I think not!!!)

So we made it safe and sound to our room in Pebble Beach. First stop, the mini-bar baby!!!!!

YAAAAAAY!!! It's my husband Gary!!!!!!! (hi baby!! I hope you're having a good day today!! I love you soooooo much... kiss kiss kiss).

MY BABY SURPRISED ME WITH FLOWERS WAITING FOR ME IN THE ROOM!!!!! I swear, I married the most amazing man in the world (I love you so much my sweet husband... kiss kiss kiss).

Here are the boys at dinner (that's you Rob and Arnie!! Chew slowly!! It's SOOOO good for you!!) I swear, can you BELIEVE how much weight Arnie has lost!!!

I popped in at the end to take a photo, too!! (which by the way, Arnie holding the wine bottle... not funny!!!! He's over 9 years sober now and he just does this to rile my goat!!!)

YAAAAY!!!! This is me at dinner with my dream come true of a husband, Gary (gooooood morning baby!! I love you so much, hope you're having a great day at work... kiss kiss kiss).

Okay, so this is where the boys went to spend a bunch of money and hit their little white ball thingy around all morning and afternoon. My husband said this is the 18th hole of Pebble Beach, but if you ask me, it looks just like holes 1-17. Let's see... grass... trees... hole... beach... grass... trees... hole... beach... grass... trees... hole... beach. Why you need more than one of these things is beyond me, but it's good, because you guys need to have something that ya think is just for you.

Hittin' a ball around with a stick is the boys' idea of a perfect vacation, welcome to mine!!! This is me sipping an AWESOME margarita at our favorite little Mexican place in Carmel, California. The food here is SOOOOO amazing!!! (Just a quick note though, I loooove margaritas, but you don't have to love margaritas to have a good time. If you do decide to have fun and have cocktails, don't overdo it too much. Make sure you have somebody who can drive you somewhere or make sure you get a cab. Having wonderful margaritas at a great Mexican restaurant is a lot of fun, but not if somebody ends up getting hurt. Hey, we gotta look out for each other!! We're all together in this world!!)

YAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!! It's my baby!!!! The sweetest man in the whole world, my husband Gary (good morning baby, I love you.... kiss kiss kiss!! Look how good our picture turned out!!) always takes me to our favorite restaurant every time we're in Carmel. He takes such perfect good care of me.

Oh my gosh, this cracked us up soooo hard. Rob's wife Janell (waddup Janelly!!!!) and I took this photo. Doesn't this look like a woman's... ya know... (I'm pointing now, but you can't see!!!). How funny is this!!!

Back to the golf at Pebble Beach. This is the "fun" part of the trip for the boys... hit the ball... walk after it... hit the ball... walk after it... hit the ball... curse... walk after it. Oh my gosh, but look how pretty the grass is!!

Yaaay honey!! You're doing so good!! This is my amazingly wonderful husband Gary hitting the ball (good morning baby, I love you so much!!! kiss kiss kiss kiss. See that, I gave you a kiss 4 times... how many times? "Foooooooooooooooore!!" Get it!! "Foooooooooooore!!" How funny is that!!)

This is Arnie's friend getting ready to hit the ball. He's been doing this for a while. You guys kill me with how you act like this stuff is brain surgery!! I mean dang, just hit the ball! You're just gonna be walkin' after it again in about 30 seconds. You guys act like ya can save the whole world if you just take an extra minute to waste lookin' at the hole and practicing your swing, but it gets you outside in the fresh air, so that's good.

Apparently it takes 4 of you guys to do this.

One... two... three... four... five of ya, just standin' around. Oh well, they seem to be having a good time, and that's important. Ya know what this does remind me of though? Do you ever see those nature shows on when all the wild dogs are out like in groups and marking their territory. Tell me this doesn't look just like that!!!

Awwww, look how cute all the boys are!! They got their cute outfits on, they're all walkin' together like their in a big tough pack! You men just crack me up.

WILL YOU LOOK AT HOW CUTE THIS IS!!!! We're on our way home from Pebble Beach, and we came across a mamma duck walking her little babies across the street!!!!!! This just reminds you of how precious life is and how lucky we are to have each other and to be able to do things like this together. Just like the mamma ducks and her kids, we are all in this life together. We cross the street together, we face dangers together and we share the good things in life together. We are so blessed.

So now we're back home, and I'm out running errands and I came across this... Roseville's 4th of July parade. I completely teared up when I saw this. I mean, this is what this day and this holiday time is all about... our fine men and women in the armed forces. They fought so long ago to give us our freedom and they continue to do so today so we can live in the best country in the world. I hope you remembered them on 4th of July and thanked those you know in the military. Whether you are a man, a woman, a Democrat, or even a Republican, a catholic, a Baptist, Jewish, or even an atheist like our producer, Nick, you have the freedom to express and have different views and beliefs in this great country. It is because of the best armed forces in the world that we have the freedom to be so different in one country. To all of our men and women in uniform, we will never be able to thank you enough.

Now on to the other major event of our vacation... the 4th of July party at Rob's house!!!!!! Okay, now Rob was being his usual pretend grumpy self on the air about this day, because the part officially starts at around 5pm and we got there at around 2-ish or so. But we do this every year!!! It's so fun for us all to be together when we can relax and play and unwind!!! Plus, I get to bond with Rob's gorgeous wife Janell (hi Janelly!!!!!!!!). This is us having cocktails together!!

Yaaaaaaayy!!!!!! This is my sweetest, most handsomest man in the world husband Gary (good morning baby, I love you!! Hug yourself and pretend it's me!! kiss kiss kiss) having drinks together at Rob's AMAZING new house!!

Awwwww!! Rob is so funny when he does this!!!! This is Rob PRETENDING to be annoyed that I showed up again to 4th of July party. Come on Robby, you know you love when I'm around!!!

(Seriously though, just a reminder that if you go to a friends house and do a bunch of drinking, have somebody drive for you. If they're your friends, they'll find a away to get you where you need to go safe and sound. Plus, maaaaan, the coppers are out in full force during holidays to keep everybody safe. You mess around with drinking and driving on days like that, and the PO-PO will get you for sure. So just drink and have fun, but be safe. Yaaaay safe!!!!)

It just wouldn't be a party without "Rob's crazy mother!!" Even Rob's mom is a wine expert!!

The boys are so cute when they play together!!!!! Arnie's mad over some shot that somebody just made. Ya know somethin', I've figured out that this is a lot like golf. There's a bunch of standing around, a whole lot of time goes by with not much happening. Eventually, somebody hits a white ball with a stick thingy and then everybody walks around some more. Then, there's a bunch of lookin' at stuff and pretending like it's important for a long time, and then more hitting of the white ball with the white stick and deciding who the lead dog is. But it's good for you guys. You need structure and ya need a hierarchy.

Yaaaay!!! It's Dr. Ron!!! This is the guy that Rob jokingly refers to as "Dooooooctor Ron," (ya know, with that jerky-jerk sarcasm like Dr. Ron isn't really a doctor just because he does chiropractic stuff instead of using a knife to cut people open). Dr. Ron and his wife Amy are SOOOO awesome. And now they have a new member of their family, baby Jack!!!!!

Wow, are we hammered!!!! That's the best part about vacation... it's dinner time, and Janelly and I are 3 sheets in the air drunk!!! Vacations are so awesome!!

(I promise I won't harp on this, but just make sure you do everything safe when it comes to drinking. If it starts to be too big of a deal in your life, there are so many other fun things you can do instead. Talk to somebody if you think things are getting out of hand. Okay, enough of all that. Check this out!!!! Okay, so earlier that day on Bryce's birthday, his baseball team beat the other team 23 – 0 in 4 innings!!!! (Gooooooooo Roseville West All-stars!!!!) Gary let me know that Bryce got a "4 for 4 with a single, 2 doubles, and a triple off the top of the fence!!" (hey, that sounds like a really cool bar drink, doesn't it!!! How funny is that!!) Not sure what all that means, but I'm sure it means he did really really good!!!! So waaaaaay to go Bryce!!
