Dawn's Godson's Post Baptism Party Photos

This past Sunday was Mother’s Day..yeahhhhh Mom’s! Hope you treated your’s well! Anywho it was also the day that our friends Steve and Amanda had their little boy Dylan baptized and my hubby and I became his Godparents! So here are some photos from that day, hope you enjoy!

With Catholics and maybe other faiths, it’s tradition to have an after Baptism party, so you gotta have cake! We also got a Mother’s Day cake for the Mommy’s at the party since it was their day too! We also of course had lots of yummy food! Pasta, salad with bacon (blah!) Quiche, different types of bread, fruit with my homemade whip cream..yummy!

Every Baptism party needs alcohol!! My hubby Gary and I along with Dylans’s parents Steve and Amanda and his Aunt Andrea were holding down the fort at the bar! I was drinking a guilt free drink …vodka, club soda and fresh limes…yummo!!

How freaking cute is Dylan!!! This is our God son, and yes that is a remote control in his hand! Such a boy! No really he already knows how to use it and when he enters a house he goes right for it! Holy crap he makes me laugh!

6003, 6004 and 6005 – Happended to be a pretty good day outside, meaning it wasn’t so damn hot and we could actually hang out in the backyard! Sitting around the table are Dylan and Madelyn’s (Madelyn is Dylan’s brother) grandparents and their Aunt Andrea, on the red swing is Madelyn with her Aunt Stephanie, look how big that piece of cake looks in Madelyn’s hand, well that actually is a pretty big piece of cake! Ahhhh to be young again when cake doesn’t go to your ass!!

LOL!! Look at our kitty Amber, she already isn’t a huge fan of humans and little kids are for sure not her favorite..poor thing…. she was going upstairs to get some peace and quiet!! It’s always fun hanging out with Dylan and Madelyn they both are really fun kids with a lot of personality!
