101-YEAR-OLD WOMAN HAS A HORN ON HER HEAD

For the first century of her life, 101-year-old Zhang Ruifang of central China looked just like everybody else . . . relatively speaking.

But last year, a patch of rough skin appeared on her forehead.  And in the past 12 months, that patch of rough skin has developed into a 2.4-inch HORN.  

According to doctors, Zhang's growth is most likely a cutaneous horn made of compacted keratin, which is the same protein we have in our hair and nails.

Elderly people with fair skin and a history of significant sun exposure have been known to grow cutaneous horns.  But they don't usually get anywhere near this big.

And now, Zhang seems to be growing another horn on the other side of her head.

On Saturday, the World Beard and Mustache Championships took place in Anchorage, Alaska.

--And if you care, the winner was an Anchorage native . . . named David Traver . . . who sported a beard he'd woven to resemble an Alaskan snowshoe.

SHE'S HAD A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY!!

BEFORE

This 15-year-old girl had this tumor originate by a cist on her tongue...now it's turned her into this. A ten pound tumor on her face! She will be going into surgery to attempt to remove this mass. What is that coming out of her mouth?!!?! Read the story here.

AFTER

Lai had her surgery at the University of Miami in April . . . and the first pictures of her without her tumor have just been released.  

Lai's doctors still have more work to do.  During the surgery, they had to remove 75% of Lai's lower jaw.  They've been using stem cells from her bone marrow to grow new bone, and next month, Lai will have jaw reconstruction surgery.

If all goes well, that surgery will be followed by a round of dental implants.

THERE'S A WOMAN IN ENGLAND LIKE THE ELEPHANT MAN . . . BUT THE CONDITION ONLY AFFECTS HER FROM THE WAIST DOWN

33-year-old Mandy Sellars of Lancashire, England was born with an extremely rare condition called Proteus Syndrome . . . which has caused her feet and legs to grow disproportionately large. 

Overall, Mandy weighs 285 pounds.  The top half of her body weighs about 70 to 80 pounds . . . and the bottom half makes up the rest. 

9-YEAR-OLD GIRL SETS RECORD FOR PUTTING SNAILS ON HER FACE

Tina Walton, a 9-year-old girl from Odsham, England, set a new record by putting 25 snails on her face at one time.

In order to set the record, you have to balance all the snails on your face, then lean forward for TEN seconds.  Tiana smashed the old record of 15 snails . . . which was set back in March by some Australian dude named Liam Kenny

A BOY IN INDIA HAS A RARE DISEASE THAT MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A WEREWOLF:

 Pruthviraj Patil of Sangli, India, is a normal 11-year-old boy . . . except for the fact that his entire body, including his face, is literally covered in hair.

See, Patil is one of only 50 people in the world with a rare genetic condition called hypertrichosis . . . also known as Werewolf Syndrome.

From the time he was born, Patil has been covered in thick hair, and he says he's been bullied because of his appearance.  It got so bad that he rarely leaves his small village because he's so embarrassed by the way strangers react to him. 

Patil's family says they've tried everything to get rid of the hair . . . including laser hair removal treatment . . . but nothing's worked.
