Producer Brandon Gets A Weiner Dog
Everyone meet Lucy. This is my new dog! She is a 3-year-old long hair dachshund. She was given to me by a friend through the show. Thank you Melissa! You don't know her, but she is a close friend of Janell's, Rob's wife. Lucy needed a home that could spend more time with Lucy. Since I do most of my work from home, outside of the show in the morning, I was the perfect candidate. And now, for all of you dog lovers, here are photos of my Lucy.
Here she is on her first day at her new home. She spent most of it lazing about in her new bed and on her very own couch. Notice as Lucy lounges on the couch, she's enjoying the new Quentin Tarantino movie Inglorious Basterds. I think it's her new favorite movie.
Now that I'm a dog owner, I'm frequently taking her to my local dog park. Not only the perfect place to meet the ladies, but also a great place for Lucy to make new friends too.

These last photos are for Arnie. I heard him admit on the air at one point that he was once attacked by dachshund as a child. At some point, Lucy and Arnie will cross paths, so I figured I would give her a little "taste" of what's to come. I went out and picked up a stuffed pig that "oinks" when it is bitten, and I also got a giant squeaky cow. Needless to say, she immediately tore apart that pig. Watch out Arnie, she's going to make bacon out of you! |
