Big thanks to the Winchester Country Club for helping us entertain one of our favorite clients, local media star Rich Hoffman of the Jackson Rancheria Casino and hotel last week.

Let’s start  on the driving range where Arnie is already busy shanking away

Before we began our round, we took the obligatory photos; Ummmm…I am the thin one. The other 4 guys are Arnie and Rich Hoffman

CHECK OUT THOSE PANTS! Rich is awesome.

This was the only bummer of the day; it’s summer time and Winchester, to protect their golf course, the surrounding woods and homes, institutes a no-smoking policy in the summer months. Thus, making fancy expensive cigars I brought worthless.

Here is Arnie’s obnoxious golf bag. He’s also very proud of what he calls his new “color coded” wedge system; apparently reading the numbered degrees on the top of each club is too trying for him so he needed a better system.

Check out my alcoholism. We may not be able to smoke, but we can drink jugs of Cognac iced tea!

This was an interesting piece of art we saw in the backyard of one of the enormous homes along Winchester…look closely…it looks like an anorexic alien golfer.

Once we got to the signature par 3 15th hole we had to wait for a few moments so Arnie stood impatiently, Dawn’s husband Gary cooled off and I screwed around with the camera.

Eventually Arnie went to the tee box and pouted

Here’s the view from the tee box of the finishing hole with the clubhouse in the back left. Winchester is in great shape and had a fantastic time spending the day with Rich.
