Rob, Arnie & Dawn Live In Reno, NV
The only thing more annoying than the personalized license plates on the drive to Reno was the construction between Truckee and the Nevada state line. Rob said about the crazy strip of barriers “If you look down to get one text message, you’re dead.”
Finally we arrived in Reno and at the Silver Legacy where we would be spending the evening.
The party was at Rum Bullions. The producers and some friends from our Reno affiliate KDOT showed up early to set up.
The bartenders at Rum Bullions kicked ass! I’m not sure what Rob was ordering from the waitress but it looks like she’s grabbing it from a strange place.
When he arrived Arnie was delighted to find out that the Silver Legacy had special ordered him Dr. Pepper…which he made Producer Brandon hold onto.
Producers Brandon and Cristi passed out raffle tickets for Rockalottapus to everyone who stopped by.
These girls were a little nuts. They requested a spanking for their friend’s 21st birthday, so we put Dawn on the job. As you can see Rob was covering up the microphone because they really liked the F-word.
Once the rest of the crew arrived, Rob checked to make sure the broadcast was ready to go and then the fun began. Even the pylon showed up, and was more fun than Dawn, who after 10+ years in broadcasting, needed help turning on her microphone.
