Rob's Halloween Party At Williams Manor
November 4th, 2008

With Halloween falling on a Friday this year, my wife decided to add to our already busy “party-throwing-schedule” by adding a Halloween get together. That, combined with the fact that I hate Halloween, made for a doozy of a night, tempered by lots and lots of wine.

Of course the outside of the house has to be decorated with scary things like witches and cardboard cutouts of bears.

The walkway, meanwhile was lined with ceramic pumpkins since we apparently decided not to carve the damn real pumpkins we had bought.

Oh my, a witch appears to have gotten squashed by my garage door. Eeek.

My wife, sister-in-law, and niece spent all day Friday preparing a ton of sugary sweets for the party.

Here we have the standard photo of my wife and I right before the party.

And here we have the standard “Dawn is drunk already” blurry photo with my wife and mom.

Dawn insisted on bothering me with a photo but I insisted on holding the camera since her drunk ass couldn’t hold it steady.

This is my aforementioned niece, Ashley, pawing all over me. As you can see, I adore children.

HAHA…now she is pawing all over her mother…that’s the way it should be.

This provided my sister-in-law, Julie, a chance to take the standard “here is my daughter in her cute costume” picture.

Eventually, the party began and 22 people trespassed into my home, drank 12 bottles of red wine (and 3 bottles of white wine), ate all of our food and used our pool table.

Meanwhile, the children at the party had retreated to one of the guest rooms to watch DVD’s and make a mess as they waited to go trick-or-treating.

Eventually, some of the adults took some of the children out to trick or treat in the neighborhood. The father of the year trick-or-treating with a glass of wine in his hand is our friend and chiropractor, Dr. Ron.

Random neighborhood cat spotted chilling on a lawn while ignoring the trick or treaters.

I don’t know what Producer Cristi and Producer Brandon’s girlfriend are doing in this picture, but it seems like a good place to stop.
