Thanksgiving 2009 At Williams Manor Since my wife and I are busy prepping and working Thanksgiving. We have limited photos from the weekend; but think of these as the appetizer leading up to Dawn’s pictures later in the week…
On Wednesday, my dog Shep and I removed three turkeys from their brines and got them seasoned and ready to be cooked Thursday.
Once again this year my dad was in town for Thanksgiving and we continued our annual tradition of making him help us finish with decorations. Here, is trying to figure out where each of the biblical figures belong on what we call “the Jesus Tree.”
The table is all set so it must be close arrival time for the guests.
And sure enough, in waddles Arnie!
Producer Cristi. That is all.
10 minutes into Thanksgiving, Dawn was found outside smoking with our friend Connie.
Dawn’s husband, meanwhile, was drinking heavily and hiding from Dawn.
Arnie’s wife Emily indicates that Dawn stinks.
This is Producer Cristi’s boyfriend, Scotty, looking for Cristi.
Once the food was ready, My dad and Gary each carved a turkey while I finished up the potatoes, gravy and stuffing.
After dinner Producer Cristi and the ugly shirted station manager’s wife along with many of our friends all helped clean up.
Except for Scotty who fell asleep on the couch.
There was no shortage of outstanding desserts, ranging from Dawn’s pumpkin cheesecake to bread pudding and others.
This is some random kid that crashed our party. Weird.
At the end of the night we had a fridge stuffed with leftovers! Yum! |
