Decorating Williams Manor For Christmas
Part 3

November 25th, 2008

Today we present part three of the multi-week process of decorating for the holidays at Williams Manor. We always have the house decked out by Thanksgiving with full Christmas regalia (because, after all, Thanksgiving is the official start of the Christmas holiday and Thanksgiving decorations kinda suck). The inside of the house is now complete!

Here is the overview of the house after you have walked in the front door, through the foyer, and into the family room. If you turn your head left towards the kitchen, this is what you see.

Our tree if completely decorated and packed to the rim, finished off by the obligatory train that runs underneath it.

Next to and behind the tree we have a variety of stockings and garland hung (with care of course)

In the corner opposite of the tree is the sleigh filled with Christmas animals and more stockings.

Those previous stockings are just for show, of course because my wife and I fill our 5 foot tall stockings each year for each other.

Throughout the rest of the family room and bar area there are decorations everywhere you look…

Including ornaments hung from the ceiling.

Looking backwards towards the front door are our giant nutcracker and Santa Clause which guard the entryway.

Even the wine room, which houses our second bar and our wine storage refrigerators, gets decorated for the holidays.

Here is the work-in-progress dining room which will host 14 dinner guests for Thanksgiving…

Every year on Christmas Eve, we sleep with all of our lights on, so even the bedroom is decked out in holiday decorations!

The wine closet just off of the main bar is not safe either, as Santa hangs out with the wine.

And here our my favorite parts about decorating for Christmas…an endless supply of Peanut M&M’s and brandy infused egg nog!
