On a gorgeous Tuesday afternoon, Rob, Arnie, Dawn's husband Gary (aka "Dumb-Dumb"), and John from JLC Construction (www.calljlcfirst.com) participated in the 3rd Annual SSDK9 Golf Tournament. This foursome is only one of the MANY that showed up to support the retired K9 officers as well as those on duty today. Now since this is the 3rd annual SSDK9 Golf Tournament, Dawn and the Production Team, Brandon & Cristi, have made it a tradition to enjoy some cocktails and weiners in the bar before the tee-off. The following pictures are the result of what happens when the Producers get their hands on Rob's $900 camera and have some drinks on the job... Enjoy!

This was one of the items up for the silent auction. All of the paw prints from the K9s apart of the Sacramento Sheriff's Department. Ronin, who is Officer Shane "Beefcake" Gregory's partner, has his paw print on the board. Jesse is the K9 that travels along with Rob when he goes on his ride-alongs with Brian Amos of the Sacramento Sheriff's Department.

Since Dawn is on a no drinking kick to train for a run on Thanksgiving Day, it made her feel good to buy a round of drinks for the Producers. We didn't complain.

Arnie arrives in the club house and immediately has his sights on the hot dogs at the bar.

John from JLC construction and Dawn's husband "Dumb-Dumb" finally arrives. Arnie was only standing for 5 minutes before he was winded and had to take a seat.

Rachelle was in charge of selling raffle tickets for the silent auction, and she did what it took to sell those tickets.

Arnie found a turtle at the first tee box, which worked out well since Arnie didn't have any tees. So what does he do? Sets up and takes a shot right off the back of a live turtle! As you can see, the turtle was not harmed and there were plenty of law enforcement on hand in case there was any animal cruelty that occured.

Best sign ever.

This photo will only be interesting to those who play golf, or know how the game is played. Since the Production team was hammered from the drinks Dawn bought earlier in the bar, we had her husband "Dumb-Dumb" explain it...

"In a scramble format you are required to use so many drives from each player.  You indicate whose drive you used with an "X" on their line on the score card.  So with that said, we apparently used everyone's drive on the 16th hole, which is completely impossible unless you are totally wasted...as indicated by the multiple "e"s (not "x"s) on that hole.
