PIGSKIN PICKS CONTEST RULES

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

PIGSKIN PICKS 2008-2009 SEASON

Description of Contest

A. Throughout the 2008 National Football League® Season, The Rob, Arnie and Dawn show will announce and post predictions of each winning team for each week’s games. Show members Rob Williams, Arnie States, Dawn Rossi, Producer Cristi, Producer Brandon and contributor Steve Mickelson of the Grand Sierra resort Casino Sports Book will all individually predict each game on each week’s schedule. Each show member will have a member of the listening audience assigned to him or her for the entire season. At the end of the regular season (or ensuing tie breaking games described below), whichever show member has correctly predicted the greatest number of games, that show member will be declared the winner of the Pig skin picks season and that show member’s assigned listener will win the grand prize of one (1) Lasik surgery, with pre and post operative consultation, from the Griffin and Reed Eye Care Center, Fulton Avenue, Sacramento, California. If the winning listener is deemed to not be eligible for lasik surgery, Griffin & Reed, at their sole discretion, will offer the listener the opportunity to transfer the surgery to a party of the listener’s choice or cash it out for a one-time $1500 payment.

B. How to Enter and play:   Beginning on Monday, August 18 at 5:00 a.m. through Thursday, August 21st at 9:59am., Rob, Arnie and Dawn (RAD) will invite listeners to send in their contact information (Name, Address, Phone, Email) by email to win@robarnieanddawn.com. Each household and/or email address may only submit one entry. Any duplicate entries will be destroyed and not eligible for the drawing.

On Thursday morning, August 21st at 10am, RAD will choose (off the air), one by one, at random, six (6) emails representing the 6 primary listeners who will then be offered the chance to choose the RAD show member they wish to be paired with. Chosen listeners will be contacted in the order their email is pulled out and allowed to choose from the remaining show members whom they wish to be paired with. For example, the first email chosen will choose from all six show members. Once a show member has been chosen by a listener, that show member is no longer available as a playing partner.

E-mails chosen on Thursday august 21st  at 10am will have 24 hours to make contact with RAD producers before being deemed “unreachable” at which time they will forfeit their eligibility and alternate listeners will be chosen to replace them. Alternate listeners will be assigned drafting positions lower than all originally chosen emails, pending confirmation of their eligibility.

At no time does being paired with a show member grant the listener any input, on-air time or claim to which team each show member picks weekly.

Beginning Thursday morning, September 4th, and continuing weekly through the end of the NFL® season, each show member shall post, online at www.robarnieanddawn.com their choices for each victorious team participating in that week’s games. Once picks are posted, they will be deemed final and unchangeable each week.

Any games ending in ties are thrown out of the Pig Skin picking scoring. Any games cancelled and not made up at a later time are also thrown out.

If at any time during the season a show member is incapacitated or in any way becomes
Incapable of making football picks (or is no longer a member in good standing of the show)
Williams Broadcasting, at its sole discretion, will appoint a stand in proxy show member
To assume all picking duties of the former (or incapacitated) show member.

If, after the full 17 week regular season, two or more show members are tied in number of Wins, picking will continue during the playoffs, weekly, amongst all show members, until a Winner emerges by one full victory. In the event that, prior to the final “big game,” of the 2008-2009 season, scheduled to be played on February 1st , one or more show members are Still tied, all remaining members will choose not just the winner of that week’s game, but Also a total amount of points scored by both teams and, as a secondary tie-breaker, a total Amount of  offensive yards gained by both teams combined. Winners will be chosen by Mathematical closeness.
