Wednesday August 6th, 2008 TOP 5 THINGS ABOUT AIRLINE TRAVEL THAT MAKE US WANT TO COMMENT Overview: As we celebrate the summer travel season and incidents of “air rage” being at an all-time high, we couldn’t decide whether to call this “things we hate about flying,” or “worst things about flying,” or “things about flying that suck,” or any other machination thereof so we went with the more subdued title as a catch-all. In a nut shell, flying sucks. Criteria: The entire experience of flying is horrible and any part of it can be considered here. From the parking garages to security, check-in, baggage, fellow passengers, the gate area, bars, restaurants, the stupid pre-flight lecture and everything in between. Rob's Notes: I have no traditional “fears of flying,” so the things that bug me about the experience have nothing to do with being scared. It seems to me that no place else in America is total abject rudeness and lack of service to customers on display more than when flying, and those are the things that generally set me off. Arnie's Notes: Look here, you people that fly and put your carry on shit in a space that is not above you or even around you are the fuckin' DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just use the one over your head, and if there's not enough room that means you brought waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much on board, you loosers!!!!!!!!
