TOP 5 GREATEST MOVIES OF THE 1980s

Overview: Motivated by a seemingly silly online survey, we felt challenged to bring you the actual list of the greatest movies of the decade that brought us President Reagan, MTV, the space shuttle challenger explosion and 4 super bowl rings for the San Francisco 49ers.

Criteria: Any movie released to the nation’s box office between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989 is eligible.

Rob's Notes:  My greatest movie lists remain consistent; a great movie is one that you can and want to watch over and over again; it must hold up to be one of the greatest.

Arnie's Notes: Look here, I don't know what Rob is smoking to think that the Robert Redford movie The Natural isn't one of the greatest movies of the 80's but to put Field of Dreams ahead of it is just down right not American!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is the perfect movie to watch to get you in the mood for the start of baseball season.  Caddyshack is just the funniest movie of all time thanks to the one and only Rodney Dangerfield.
