"Top 5 Board Games "
Criteria: We used the Board Games Institute (yes there really is one) list of games to define what is a board game. Thus, Twister, Crash Towers and even Dominoes were all considered and discussed.
Overview: Best board games were based on how fun they were, strategy, etc. Rob’s g ames wound up being extremely cerebral while Arnie’s were mostly b ased on the fun-factor, thus an agreement was impossible to come to.
Rob's Notes: Arnie’s list would be great if we were listing the greatest games for p eople under 10. I mean really, electric football? Clue? Clue is justThe board game version of mystery murder dinners on the Delta KingSteamboat. By the way, when arnie puts Chess on his list he means his v ersion which is a bunch of made up rules including that the "horse" as h e calls it, can fly. My list stands the test of time and includes all strategy and fun games.
Arnie's Notes: Rob again shows us how not fun he is but using the whole "intellectual" thing when it comes to board games. Did he have only black and white toys as a baby??? Rob's list including a spelling game and games about geography aren't that much fun, and shouldn't be in the top 5. Electric football just missed the top spot because I didn't know the correct name for it. Read Robs blah blah blah, and see who you would rather play games with.
